Since its introduction in April of 2008, the BMW S1000RR has been an incredible success for the German company, particularly raising interest in BMW motorcycles from a younger demographic. In 2010, the bike cleaned up in awards, winning Motorcycle and/or Superbike of the year from multiple motorcycle mags. I’m still waiting for an excuse to put one of these in my garage, but first – here’s your chance.
This specific S1KRR is adorned in my favorite paint scheme, the BMW Motorrad red/white/blue tricolor. It’s been modified to make it capable of some light touring, including Carrozzeria wheels, Woodcraft protectors, CRG levers, Werkes slipon muffler, and the BMW tank and tail bags. It has just 1,592 miles, and it looks basically new. I’m curious to see how resale values of this bike will go as the next generation is about to release, and (in my opinion, of course) the new S1000RR looks worse.
