Trivia Discount – 2002 Ducati S4 Fogarty

If you’re looking at the number of championships and individual race wins, Carl “Foggy” Fogarty is the most successful racer to ever rule in World Superbike. In 2002, Ducati released a special edition of their Monster to honor Foggy – here’s #16 of 300. Plus, this is the first time I’ve seen a seller asks a trivia question that will get you a discount!

First, the bike: Ducati started with the top of the line Monster S4, which already had a 916cc L-twin with 101 horsepower, then set out to make 300 examples of the best Monster ever produced. A few technical upgrades complemented the exclusive cosmetic upgrades. This bike has 8,500 miles and has had a recent service as well as RaceTech valves/springs in the front forks and Ohlins remote reservoir rear shocks set up for a 200 pound rider. This bike has $1,200 just in the suspension. Note that the tail has been chopped and the mudguard has been removed.

Now, the trivia: the seller is getting rid of the bike because he’s being transferred to “the only Southeast Asian capitol that motorcycles are not allowed in.” If you name it, he’ll give you $200 off. Anyone know the correct answer off the top of his or her head? I had to look it up.

Find this Foggy Monster for sale in Springfield, Virginia for $8,250 (or $8,050 because you’re so smart) here on Craigslist.
