Here’s your final notice that on May 14th, the Quail Motorcycle Gathering is coming back for its 8th year. My first visit was last year and I had a great time – will I see you there this time around?
The event officially starts on Friday, May 13th with a 100 mile group jaunt through Monterey called the Quail Ride. I unfortunately won’t be arriving until the main event, which starts at 10am on Saturday. Expect 300 bikes to show up, and with classes including BMW classics, the 40th anniversary of Superbikes, and pre-1916 motorcycles. Honda will be hosting a “History of Great Adventures”, which will “celebrate the company’s rich histroy of motorcycle exploration” and presumably try to sell you on an Africa Twin.
If you want a refresher, here’s my recap of last year’s event. Then go here to get tickets! Let me know in the comments if you’ll be there for the show, I look forward to seeing you!
