Starting with a RD350, the seller of this beautiful bike eventually turned it into a replica of a TZ that you can enjoy on the street. What do you think of it?
The seller does a good job of laying out the work that’s been performed in the listing. Highlights of the engine work include ported cylinders with overbored pistons, YZ125 reeds, Dyna ignition, JL stainless chambers, and a lightened clutch basket. The chassis gets rebuilt forks, the front master cylinder from a Honda CBR1000RR, Progressive chocks, EBC rear brake shoes, and a repainted, detabbed frame. The bodywork is from Airtech and the tank has been Caswell lined. The seller says that the bike weighs 350 pounds with a full tank and it puts down 45 horsepower at the wheel. This would be a blast on a race track but I’m currently envisioning it as a hysterical commuter.
