The US first got a 1,000cc Interceptor from Honda in 1984 with the VF1000F. In Europe, the same bike was given the model name of VF1000FE. In April of 1985, the bike evolved into the VF1000FF, a model that was sold in Europe, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. The US never got the FF, which was discontinued in August 1987. Here’s an example which made be the only one that’s ever entered the United States.
The seller (EuroCycle Las Vegas) acquired this bike at Mecum Las Vegas nine months ago for $5,500. Per Mecum, it’s the only known example of a VF1000FF in the US. It was originally sold in the UK and came to the US for the Mecum auction. The seller has copy/pasted plenty of information about the VF1000 family in his listing, but all he has to say about the condition of this bike for sale is that it has the “factory bodywork and paint and was well cared for.” It’s unclear if it currently runs, and the odometer shows 40,004 miles.
Find this VF1000FF for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada for $5,995 here on Craigslist.
