Unexpected Custom – 1967 Honda CB450

Forgive me. I know that you will probably hate this, but I couldn’t stop staring at it and I figured I had to share it with you because of that. “This” started as a ’67 Black Bomber and it’s been customized with the suspension (and a few other parts) from a 2012 Honda CBR. On paper, that’s a wonderful combination. I’ll leave it at that.

In general, I subscribe to the “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” school of thought. So I’ll just note what the seller has mentioned: “It has won awards at national and local vintage motorcycle shows.” The motor has been rebuilt and it has just 200 miles since the work was done. The carbs are from a ’74 CB450, and they’ve been rebuilt and rejetted for the custom intake and exhaust. So…what do you think? I actually think there’s some potential
