Thanks to extensive work by Fast by Ferracci, this Ducati ST4S puts out 140 horsepower at the rear wheel, 30 more than the stock bike. The FbF kit includes a new crank, billet titanium rods, pistons, lightweight flywheel, slipper clutch, and cylinders. The kit was apparently worth $10k, which explains why the seller says that the total work cost $15k.
The ST4S was an evolution of the ST4 – it got a bigger motor (a liquid cooled Desmoquattro) evolved from the 9996. Thanks to revised styling of the exhaust, the ST4S actually produced more power and torque than the 996. Upgrades for this example include a Power Commander, GPR exhaust (with a spare Staintune exhaust) and a Evoluzione clutch slave cylinder. In addition to the 140 horsepower at the real wheel, the motor puts down 82 pound feet of torque. In the last thousand miles, the bike has received a valve check, new belts, new fuel pump, new tires, and a new chain.
Other modifications include a Sargent seat, Helibars, peg lowering brackets, a steering damper, Ducati design headlights, and plenty more. The bike was apparently done up in a Senna tribute paint scheme but the original owner wanted a red bike. Find this ST4S for sale here on Ducati.ms in Kanab, Utah for $4,800.
