I never really thought I’d write the words “custom” and “ST1100” together in the same sentence, but here’s one that’s surprisingly been turned into a…well, I don’t really know. A cafe racer, I guess?
The seller him/herself calls the ST1100 a “desirable touring bike”, but that description obviously no longer applies. The ST11 (also known as the Pan-European) had quite a long production run – Honda sold it between 1990 and 2002. During that time it won over a fair amount of fans as a reliable platform to sport-tour with. The V-4 motor produced 100 horsepower, and it was paired with shaft drive for easy maintenance. Traction control and ABS were optional extras, plus it had huge range thanks to a 7.4 gallon tank.
Again, not much of that is relevant to this build. What do you think of the final result? Would you ride this?
