My first bike after undergrad was a beat up Yamaha Seca 2 that I bought for $600. I thought it was a pleasant bike, but I never thought it would make a good platform to go off-road with. Thankfully, the builder of this bike doesn’t think like I do.
In the seller’s words, “this is a true 50/50 dual sport motorcycle. I built this custom since I couldn’t get what I wanted out of a KLR on the highway, and ride hard trails on an adventure bike. After riding this bike for several years on both, I admit I found the perfect balance…”
The front end is from a Kawasaki KLR, while the rear shock was pulled off a Yamaha R1. The bike weighs approximately 415 pounds, and it has evidence of being ridden off-road. The seller says that he’s “taken this thing to kingdom come and back”, but he’s not riding it as often as he’d like to so it needs to go someone who will enjoy it.
