This video infuriates me because it’s so short and there’s more footage of girls playing billiards than any motorcycle, but I guess it’s a successful teaser because now I’ve got 10/25 marked on my calendar. Most of you guys and gals are here because you like the classics, and Kawasaki’s legendary Z1 has always been a popular bike when I’ve posted one. It looks like Kawasaki is about to make some of you very happy because they’re about to announce the Z900RS, which looks like it may combine the motor from a Z900 (good news) with styling inspired by the Z1 (even better news).
I think Yamaha had the right idea with their XSR900, but the styling seemed a bit off to me. If this bike looks like some of the mockups I’ve seen, I think it’s going to be a winner – especially with older riders looking for a bit of nostalgia.
