This weekend, my home state of Massachusetts hosted the 34th annual meeting of the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club. Thanks to unseasonably warm weather, they had a great turnout of some lovely bikes.

My personal highlight was the attitude of John Hatch, who brought a 1987 Cagiva Elefant that he’s owned for less than a month:
“I’ve always lusted after these. I’ve never owned an Italian bike before, so I figured I’d start out with a 30-year-old, clapped-out Italian…”
