When I was sent a link to this, I thought it was some sort of mis-timed April Fool’s joke. I was wrong – this is very real. Bosch is testing bike-mounted thrusters (the rest of this sentence is a let down because it does not involve the word rockets or grenades) that blast out a stream of air in an effort to help prevent low sides.
The device can only be used once before you have to get it recharged, but I’m going to assume that the cost of recharging is much less than mending a broken bone or having your bike totaled. Check out this preview – are you a believer?
