Video Intermission – Coast to Coast in 50 Hours

Many moons ago, Nathan and I attempted the Iron Butt Association 50CC Challenge – going from coast to coast in 50 hours. It all started because I had to be in Orlando for a conference, so I rode a Kawasaki Ninja H2 from Los Angeles to Orlando over a few days, stopping to see some friends along the way. I documented the trip in a series of posts here on Bike-urious, but now we finally have video and I’m excited to share it with you!

As a reminder, I asked you wise folks for suggestions on what bike to take for the challenge, and it resulted in some great responses. One option was the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 – that wasn’t available to me at the time, though I actually happen to have one right now. Anything you want to know about it?

Seeing as we were in a rush, we weren’t able to get all of the footage that we’d normally want for a video. So this time around, Nathan and I will be watching it with you and trying to fill in some missing details. Hope you enjoy, and I’d love to hear what you think! (Please Note: there is some cursing):
