Nathan and I got our hands on a Honda CB1100 and a Triumph Bonneville so we decided to take a quick trip back in time and explore some spots that were popular in Southern California back in the 70s.
It felt unfair to do a true comparison between these bikes as the Bonnie obviously just got a redesign, so this is more of an adventure video instead. For what it’s worth, Nathan preferred the Bonneville but his daily rider is a Thruxton and I’m going to pretend he’s biased because he doesn’t agree with me. I thought the CB1100 was better in every way, even the bullshit “soul” argument that seems to get thrown around with these bikes:
