I have three words for you: Royal Enfield Chariot!
It’s definitely odd, but MTV called this song a “moped anthem”:
“Ryan [Lewis] made a beat on the road called ’moping around,’ I got the beat, I thought it said moped,” Macklemore recently told us. “Coincidentally we had both purchased mopeds for being on the road so we could go around, leave the venues that we were performing at, and I wrote a song about mopeds, which now a year and a half later is out in the world.”
Also, have I mentioned there’s a Royal Enfield Chariot? Enjoy.
Amusing lines include:
“Banana seat, a canopy on two wheels
Eight hundred cash, that’s a hell of a deal”
“She has her arms around your waist
With a balance that could keep us safe
(downtown)
Have you ever felt the warm embrace
(downtown)
Of the leather seat between your legs”
“If I only had one helmet I would give it to you, give it to you”
