Dean Harrison just set a new lap record for the Isle of Man TT, and what’s almost impossible to fathom is that he did it from a standing start! Unfortunately, his good luck did not hold as he had to retire during later in the race with a mechanical failure on his Silicon Engineering Kawasaki ZX10-RR. Still, he broke every sector record on his opening lap en route to a time of 16:50.384 – or as IoM fans would say, a 134.432 mph lap.
