The Keating Wheel company has got a pair of beautiful vintage Harley racers that we wanted to make sure our wonderful readers knew about.
First, we’ve got a 1974 Harley-Davidson RR350. Built during the days when Harley was owned by Aermacchi, only 37 were built – who knows how many are left. Most importantly, this is the only Harley that has ever won a Grand Prix event. Restored many years ago in Germany, this bike has not been ridden since. Want to learn more? Silodrome had an interesting feature back on the RR350 two years ago, where they claimed this bike was going to be up for sale soon. Wonder what took so long. This bike has bene gone through, and the only issue seems to be that the front brakes need to be bled. Why the seller wouldn’t take care of that before selling such a rarity, we’ll never understand.
Secondly, we’ve got a 1963 Harley-Davdson KRTT. There’s slightly more information on this bike, which has spent time in a private museum and in the seller’s private collection. This specific bike won the 1963 Daytona 200, though it’s not clear if the current motor was the one at the time of victory. Unlike the RR350, this bike has no mechanical needs and will run safely as is.
