This Suzuki 250 Super Six (also known as the T20 Hustler) looks to be a well sorted race bike that could be run in vintage class races along the west coast. The ad on Craigslist says the bike is located in Sechelt, which is on the Sunshine Coast just north of Vancouver, BC.
Highlights of the extensive work include a rare factory Suzuki TR250 gas tank, seat, and oil tank. Unfortunately there’s a dent in the tank and the frame is apparently ‘tweaked to the right under the seat’ but the seller says it doesn’t affect handling. You’ll also get PVL electronic ignition, Tyga silencers, the carbs from a Yamaha RD350, and enough spares to build another complete motor.
The seller has owned the bike for 10 years but he won’t be able to ride this year due to a medical problem. All in for an asking price of $4,800 Canadian it could be a viable race ready bike for someone looking to get into racing or enjoy vintage track days. I am unsure if the Modern MC text on the fairing means the bike has an association to a well known Motorcycle repair shop in Vancouver that specializes in the Suzuki brand called Modern Motorcycling. They have often had a motorcycle or two racing, it would make sense that there was a connection. With the Tyga silencers and the straight cut gears I would imagine this bike has an amazing sound track to match the racing looks.
