Virtual Intermission – Tour the Ducati Museum Online

You guys and gals had a bunch of great suggestions for what I should do with my limited time in Italy. One option that came up a few times was a tour of the Ducati Museum. Unfortunately, the museum is currently closed for renovation in preparation of Ducati’s 90th Anniversary celebrations next month. But did you know that you can take a virtual tour of the museum thanks to Google Maps?

The Ducati museum starts with the ’46 Cucciolo and features over 40 of the brand’s most important motorcycles to date. In 2012, the museum was officially recognized by Italy’s Ministry for Cultural hertiage and Regional Activities as a “site of significant cultural value.” For more information, head on over to Ducati’s site. Or, click here to begin your tour – it behaves just like Google Street View does.
