Post Listing Update: This TL was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.

Produced from 1998-2003, this TL1000R was Suzuki’s V-Twin superbike, the fully-faired (and racier) brother of the TL1000S. This model was briefly used in Suzuki’s World and American Superbike Championship campaigns before they switched to the lighter 750 Gixxer. The TLR put down a hefty 135 horsepower and 78 pound-feet of torque, motivating a bike that weighed 424 pounds dry. Here’s a barely-used example that should suit you just fine, assuming you like yellow.

For more on the TL twins, check out this review by MCN. This example (VIN: JH2SC3308WM200744) has just 2,583 miles and it looks to be in good shape. There’s been some modifications, though all the stock parts are included. The seller claims that the motor has never revved beyond 8,000 rpm, which is rather disappointing. The upgrades include a Power Commander, Yoshimura RS-3 slipon exhaust, carbon fiber levers, Zero Gravity tinted windscreen, a tail tidy (not installed), and new tires.

In addition to all the stock parts (the seller even kept the original tires), the sale includes the original paperwork, owner’s manual, CD service discs, custom cover, and a matching yellow helmet that has been worn twice. There’s a scratch in the chrome TL-R decal on the left fairing and a couple of smudges in the paint. Find this TL for sale in Mesa, Arizona with bidding up to $4,600 and the reserve not yet met
