Tens of thousands of motorcycle nuts will be descending upon Birmingham, Alabama this week for the Barber Vintage Festival…and I’ll be one of them! Will I see you there?
There’s a whole bunch of stuff happening – the Barber Museum will have some special exhibits, they will host their sole annual fundraising event (Motorcycles by Moonlight), there will be a gigantic swap meet, and the track will host AHRMA racing (which I will be competing in)!
Iconic is showing up with a bit of a presence this year – in addition to the racing we’ve got a private tour of the museum lined up for our clients and we have three tables booked at the fundraising event. Plus, we’ve donated a custom Honda NSF100 to help the cause in the charity auction!
I had a wonderful time at the Vintage Festival last year, unfortunately I’m going to be spending a lot more time on the track and not at certain events because I’ll be racing but I hope to see all of you there.
My rough schedule will be:
Thursday – get set up in pits, practice
Friday – practice, hopefully check out the swap meet, Motorcycles by Moonlight
Saturday – racing!
Sunday – racing and then a birthday dinner at a restaurant that’s actually called Abhi’s.
Monday – Nate Kern’s DoubleRFest trackday with clients then flying back home to LA.
Will you be there? Leave a comment or send me an email! (abhi@bike-urious.com)
