Post-Listing Update: This V7 Sport did not meet reserve at $6,200 after 24 bids on eBay.
It’s quite a claim, but it’s hard to argue against this bike, which has clocked 156.233 miles per hour on the Bonneville Salt Flats!
Known as the Bonneville Bee, this bike was campaigned by Pepproni Bros. Racing and just came back from the USFRA World of Speed event where it set records in the 750 MPS-PG and 750 MPS-PF categories. It has raced on the salt flats for the last 11 years and unfortunately has suffered the corrosion you’d expect from that surface. The seller is having some health issues and has to get rid of his racer.
This specific Guzzi (VIN: 32188) is numbers matching and, as you’d expect, has a tremendous amount of work done to it. Highlights include 11.7:1 CP pistons, Carrillo rods, Megacycle Cam, Excel rims by Woddy’s Wheel Works, Airtech bodywork, and plenty more. The motor only has 10 passes on it and you’ll get plenty of spares.
