Ready for a laugh (in the good way)? Check out this Yamaha TW200, which has been modified beyond belief. The stock TW200 is an unique runabout that features a fat rear tire and excellent gas mileage and has become a slow but very capable dual-sport. This bike takes the fat rear tire concept to an extreme, with an ATV tire mounted on a trailer rim.
The large tires remind some riders of the Rokon 2WD, though this thumper just powers the rear wheel. It’s been around since 1987, so spares are easy to find, and a small but loyal following is ready to help online with any support you may need.
This specific TW200 clearly has some modifications done. The big ones include DR650 forks up front, and the frankenstein rear tire assembly. In addition, there’s a Yamaha Banshee rear shock, and a Clarke fuel tank.
The seller spends some time describing how he got the DR650 forks on the bike here on the TW200 forum. He’s also quite forthcoming with any needs (which are minimal), and you’ll get as many spare parts as we’ve ever seen included in a sale.
