Royal Enfield has just released two models powered by an all-new 650 twin motor, but the seller of this bike beat them to the punch. The title tells you what you need to know – this is a Royal Enfield that’s had a heart transplant. The seller says he “decided to change the motor to make it a reliable daily rider”. The original RE motor produced approximately 22 horsepower, but the older X650 engine produces 53. So this Enfield isn’t just more reliable, it’s also quite a bit faster.
The seller notes that this new drivetrain includes a permanent magnet alternator and a hydraulic clutch. Weirdly, he/she is willing to trade but they won’t trade for any “Jap crap”, even though they put a Japanese motor in this bike to make it better.
